All preparation staff undergo a full training program including Basic & Intermediate Food Hygiene. Designated HACCP teams meet on a regular basis to discuss each stage of our operation as we continually strive to improve our working systems.
Our audit trail including metal detection, aligned to full traceability from field to kitchen ensures that chefs can have full confidence on our company & procedures.
Food safety is one of the most important issues facing the catering industry today. Country Fresh Foods sees this as a paramount consideration and as such liaises closely with all relevant statutory bodies.
We employ our own Technical Direct or who is responsible for external audits to ensure that our suppliers are compliant with all necessary industry codes of practice and legislation. We ourselves are monitored and audited not only by our own in-house Technical Director, but also by specialist Environmental Health Management companies who themselves work on behalf of major clients. We are very proud to have maintained our BRC accreditation at Higher level, together with STS accreditation.
